경기 시흥시는 유기동물보호 및 관리 등을 위해 내년 15억여원을 들여 동물보호센터를 건립할 계획이라고 28일 밝혔다.<br /> <br /> 시흥시 동물보호센터는 정왕동 산 16의 4 일대 부지에 동물보호동과 사무동 등 개 건물 이뤄진 연 면적 460m2 규모로 조성된다.<br /> <br /> 시는 내년 1월부터 공사에 들어가 7월께 센터를 개관할 예정이다.
